I can relate to the Apostle Paul – not persecute the church, stone Stephen part, the looking good on paper part. I was born into a loving Christian home with committed Christian parents. I grew up in church, went to youth group and Bible camp. I even married a pastor’s son! But if I’m transparent, it wasn’t until I was in college that my relationship with the Lord truly began.
Over the next 14 years, I would embark on a journey with my Lord from New York and to Ohio; from a college graduate to a new bride to a mother of three; from teaching students in Staten Island to teaching women the importance of hiding God’s Word in their hearts.
Today, I can still relate to the Apostle Paul. This time, though, it has nothing to do with who I am or where I come from and everything to do with my passion to share the Good News. My heart is to teach from His Word because without it hidden in our hearts, we have nothing to stand on.
